Battery-Powered Controller Delivers The Power Without The Plug
The XC Hybrid Controller delivers extensive power without the plug. Built with all the same efficient water management features as the XC Controller, the XC Hybrid operates DC latching solenoids with battery power or a plug in 24VAC transformer. Ready for outdoor or indoor installation, the XC Hybrid comes in 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 station plastic models, as well as 6 and 12 station stainless steel models. That means it’s the right solution for a wide range of residential and commercial applications. Small residential areas, parks, gardens, roadway medians and roundabouts are ready for the XC Hybrid. With ‘Easy Retrieve’ memory backup and on-board, non-volatile memory, you’ve got the assurance to recall all of the controller’s watering programs.

- Solar Panel Kit SPXCH eliminates the need for batteries and provides maintenance free operation
Solar Panel Kit (SPXCH) eliminates the need for batteries and provides maintenance free operation. The Solar Panel provides maintenance-free operation by harnessing the sun’s energy to power the controller 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for years on end. Once connected, the Solar Panel supplies 100% of the controllers’ power, and eliminates the alkaline batteries. This “eco-innovations” alternative is more environmentally friendly and allows for maintenance-free operation of the controller.
A manual back-up utility that stores complete controller scheduling and setup information in back-up memory. This allows the saved watering schedule to be restored at any time. This can be used to set a controller back to its initial settings after tampering or at the beginning of a new season.
Allows the user to manually start/test any station by simply pressing and holding the right arrow button, and then adding a run time to the appropriate station.
Toggle switch that controls the input signal from the weather sensor (Rain-Clik, Freeze-Clik, Wind-Clik, etc). When the switch is set to “Bypass” the controller will ignore the signal from the sensor and irrigate normally.
The Programmable Rain Delay feature incorporates a user specified number of days to keep the controller in the OFF mode, then allows for the system to automatically revert back to scheduled irrigation. This will prevent watering during an extended period of inclement weather, but will resume watering automatically without requiring a return visit to the controller. The controller displays the number of days remaining before watering resumes.
This feature offers protection against unreliable power, retaining current time, date, and program data.
This feature allows for quick adjustments to irrigation run times through a percentage scale. During peak season, set the seasonal adjustment to 100%. If weather conditions require less water, enter the appropriate percentage value (i.e. 50%) to cut down irrigation run times without the need to adjust each station in the program.
A delay in watering between individual stations as the controller moves from one to the next. The delay may range from a few seconds, to permit slow-closing valves time to shut down, or much longer to allow pressure tanks, etc., to refill or recharge.
The ability to specify which program or stations will be shut down in response to a specific sensor alarm. This allows stations or programs unaffected by the sensor to continue automatic operations.
