  5000 SERIES (MID RANGE GEAR DRIVE MOTOR)

The 5000 Enhanced and 5000 Plus series mid ranged rotors complement Rain Bird’s top adjustment rotor family. The new range has greater durability, high quality standards and performance. Ideal for residential or commercial applications.

  FEATURES
· Enhanced Rain Curtain Nozzles, giving increased radius range with less flow per nozzle and new micro ramps for increased close in watering
· Heavy-duty cover assembly for extra durability
· Debris Sentry integrated into the turret of the rotor, protecting the internals from   debris
· Top adjust arc adjustment using only a flat-blade screwdriver
· Water-lubricated gear-drive design for durable, reliable operation
· Radius adjustment screw allows for up to 25% reduction without changing nozzles
· Reinforced flow path for additional side load strength
· Additional o-rings and seals for extra protection in “gritty” water

MATCHED PRECIPITATION NOZZLES FOR 5000 SERIES

Matched Precipitation Rate (MPR) Nozzles simplify both design and  installation of rotors. They are designed to deliver matched precipitation rates between radii of 7.6 - 10.7 metres. MPR Nozzles can be installed in 5000 Enhanced, 500 Plus and UPG series rotors.

FEATURES
· Three Nozzle Tree Radii: 7.6m, 9.1m and 10.7m
· Each nozzle tree has 4 nozzles: Q (90°), T (120°), H (180°) and F (360°)
· Rain Curtain Technology giving effective close-in watering, even         distribution over entire radius
· Colour coded by radius for easy identification
· Precipitation rate of 15.2 mm/hr reducing erosion and run-off
